DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - Four people were hospitalized and eight occupants are displaced after a house fire Monday, October 27, according to Danville Fire Department.
Danville Fire Department responded at 5:48 a.m. to reports of a structure fire at 1115 N. Main Street, where smoke was coming from the second floor of a two-story residence. Firefighters say there were occupants inside the residence.
Crews quickly deployed attack lines and began searching for any individuals, according to firefighters. Firefighters say two people were found and removed from the residence within minutes. Four people were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
