PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - Despite rainy weather on Monday, it didn’t stop two women in Pulaski County from getting outside and cleaning litter in their hometown.

It’s something they do every single day.

Sue Huff has cancer in her throat and in her kidney, but you wouldn’t be able to tell seeing her out-and-about in Pulaski County with her yellow vest and litter picker.

“I just want to get back into the community, do as much as I can while I’m still here,” said Huff.

Huff and close friend Krista Lindsey spend their days picking up trash around Pulaski County. From roadways to trail spots, there’s nothing they’re not dedicated to cleaning up to keep their hometown beautiful.
