Former Bristol City player Marvin Brown dies aged 42 View Image

Tributes have poured in for Bristol City's youngest-ever player, who has died at the age of 42 following a terminal cancer diagnosis.

Marvin Brown died earlier today (Monday, October 27) after being moved onto end-of-life care at home on Saturday, October 18.

Doctors discovered he was suffering from a rare form of cancer in his bile duct.

A fundraiser was set up to support his wife, Alexis, his childhood sweetheart, and his two daughters , aged 11 and eight.

Announcing Marvin's death, his brother, Aaron Brown, posted on Instagram: "Today I said goodbye to my little brother and my best friend, Marvin.
