LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - Officers say they’ve caught three people responsible for breaking into multiple Lake City homes and robbing the residents at gunpoint.

Lake City Police Department officers arrested Trever Strawder, 26, Jakyris Martin, 20, and Ajahnnie Ward, 27, on charges related to three robberies.

Investigators connected the suspects to armed robberies on Aug. 19 at an apartment on Zesty Circle, on Aug. 28 at an apartment on Huntsboro Street, and on Aug. 30 at a home on Petunia Place.

In all three of the break-ins, the armed suspects would force their way inside, demanding valuables and money. In two of the robberies, the masked robbers would shout “Sheriff’s Office” before entering.
