MARSHALL, Texas (KSLA) - Considered one of the ten most magical Christmas towns in Texas, the Wonderland of Lights in Marshall, Texas is beginning to take shape.

On Monday, Oct. 27, KSLA News 12 crews ventured to the historical downtown courthouse on the square, where the skating rink, carousel, and other buildings in the area are being prepped for this year’s big festival.

This year’s wonderland attractions include carriage rides, Santa’s Village, and the Wonderland Express.

The grand old historic courthouse lighting, which the centerpiece of it all, will kick off the festivities Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Following the lighting, Marshall’s Christmas parade will be held on December 6.
