SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is urgently looking for adopters after announcing that its space is officially out of room for cats.
The shelter has 312 cats in their care, with 115 available for adoption.
“Our community has always stepped up when animals need help,” said Dana Konzem, Community Outreach Director. “Right now, we need that compassion more than ever. Adopting or fostering even one cat makes room for another who has nowhere else to go.”
The shelter is encouraging anyone who is able to or has considered adopting to pay a visit to the shelter.
The shelter is asking those who are unable to adopt to foster, donate supplies, or share the message to adopt across social media.
