HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 13-year-old girl was arrested in connection with making threatening posts planning to shoot up a Houston County Middle School , according to Sheriff Matt Moulton
Sheriff Moulton with the Houston County Sheriff's Office said the girl, a student at Feagin Mill Middle School, made a post stating. "I'm going to shoot up the school on Monday, everybody gon die."
According to Moulton, the girl was charged with making a terroristic threat and disrupting of public school. He added that she is being held at the regional youth detention center until her court date.
"I've got a daughter in Houston County public schools and her safety is my priority," Moulton said. "We can't take those types of posts lightly anymore."
