PLAINVIEW, Texas (KTRE) - Former Center Roughrider Keamodre Horace scored three touchdowns on the ground for the second-straight game in Wayland Baptist’s 45-8 win over Arkansas Baptist on Saturday.

Horace joined East Texas Now on Monday to talk about his performance this season, growing up in Center and the support from back home. Through seven games this season, Horace has 713 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns. Horace started his career at Navarro College before coming to Wayland Baptist.

“Honestly, it wasn’t even too bad. I got hurt and I had never been injured during football season so that threw me off,” Horace said. “I came to Wayland and was ineligible to play, so that threw me off coming here, but after that it was just learning the plays.”

Wayland Baptist sits with a 5-2 overall
