EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Vanderburgh County residents met to discuss their concerns on the Pigeon Creek Watershed.
People who own property, live, or play within the pigeon creek watershed area were called to share their complaints, ideas, or priorities.
The Watershed Development Commission hosted the meeting at the Civic Center.
One resident who lives along Pigeon Creek says he’s been dealing with drainage issues causing flooding in his yard.
“We’ve done our best to try to make changes to the property to try and prevent, but there’s only so much you can do as an individual. So that’s why I’ve tried to ask for help from the county to see if there’s any way they can improve this situation,” says Thomas Gretler, an Evansville resident.
