LEBANON, Mo. — Halloween is just around the corner, with police in Lebanon planning to be on patrol to keep neighborhoods safe.

According to a Lebanon Police Department press release, officers are set to begin compliance checks on Friday, Oct. 31, on registered sex offenders to ensure safety for trick-or-treaters going around multiple residential areas.

“Our officers will be out and about all evening, checking for compliance and protecting our kids,” Lt. Kacie Springer of the Lebanon Police Department said in the release. “It’s all about keeping the night safe.”
