AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A man accused of assaulting several students near the University of Texas at Austin in April has been ordered to be transported to an outpatient restoration program after a court deemed him incompetent to stand trial, according to court documents.
Aymen Labidi is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in connection with the reported assaults. A hearing is expected for him on Nov. 17, according to Travis County online court records.
According to his bond conditions, Labidi must stay at least 200 yards away from all UT campuses, wear a county-funded GPS tracking device and attend counseling and education services at the Austin Travis County Integral Care’s Community Competency Restoration Program.
