PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Two men were arrested over the weekend following separate street takeover events involving "dangerous stunts" and a vehicle drifting into a Portland police patrol vehicle, authorities announced Monday.

Around 10 p.m. Friday, officers responded to reports of suspected street racing along North Columbia Boulevard.

On the scene, officers saw approximately 10 vehicles involved in an illegal street takeover.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, one driver, 30-year-old Daniel Miahalut of Portland, was detained and cited for reckless driving and unlawful street takeover.

Authorities said Miahalut’s vehicle was towed per city code, while the other vehicles dispersed after police intervention.
