A Cincinnati family is stranded in Jamaica as Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, approaches, saying their airline canceled their flight and left them in the storm's path.
"It's a pretty daunting feeling, knowing that we are going to be in the worst kind of storm on Earth at the highest category that's available,” Laura Moorman said. Advertisement
Charlie and Laura Moorman, along with their five-year-old daughter Navia, had planned a memorable trip to Runaway Bay, Jamaica, but now face a nightmare situation.
"She just turned five, and she'll be starting school next year. So, we wanted to take the opportunity before she's in school to do a little more traveling, because we'll be locked into the school year starting next year,” Charlie Moorman said.
