SALUDA COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - One person has died following a crash in Saluda County Monday morning, the Saluda County Coroner’s Office said.

The coroner’s office said that a 2005 Honda Accord was going west on Highway 178 when it hit a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse heading east.

Both cars had a driver and a passenger.

The Chevrolet Traverse passenger, Shirley Fincher, 76, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The three other crash victims were taken to local hospitals.

The crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Saluda County Coroner’s Office.
