WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The American Red Cross of South Central and Southeast Kansas have organized a food and hygiene drive for veterans.
They said the purpose is to help military communities during the government shutdown. They are asking for donations including non-perishable foods, baby food, toilet paper, and more.
Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at their Red Cross Donation Center in downtown Wichita, located at 707 N. Main St.
The drive is open until Nov. 7.
