Tuesday marks the final day of the Chhath festival. This four-day festival began on October 25th with Nahay Khay. Today, the rising sun is being offered "Usha Arghya," marking the end of the 36-hour fast. The auspicious time for offering Arghya to the rising sun was until 6:27 am. The Chhath festival is being celebrated across the country and abroad.

Since Tuesday morning, devotees have been gathering at the river banks, where collective offerings of "Usha Arghya" (offerings of Usha Arghya) are taking place. Images of this have begun to emerge from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Maharashtra (Mumbai). Despite the increasing cold, women can be seen standing in the water.
