SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Back in February, Sioux City’s Warming Shelter reorganized the way it offered services to members of the homeless population.

Monday, the Warming Shelter’s executive director, Shayla Moore, updated city council members on the results of that reorganization.

The system breaks residents up into three tiers based on engagement in services offered, and sobriety. Each tier offers incentives that are meant to encourage clients to make positive choices.

Eligibility requirements:

- Meets baseline entry requirements

- Present for entry between the hours of 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Engagement requirements:

- Clean up space prior to exit in the morning
