TOWN OF DELAVAN, Wis. (WKOW) -- Authorities recovered a body from Delavan Lake on Monday evening.
Just after 5 p.m. Monday, the Walworth County Sheriff's Office got a report of a possible deceased person in Delavan Lake, near the 2100 block of South Shore Drive.
Police, rescue crews and deputies responded. Those crews found and removed the body from the water.
The Town of Delavan Police Department says no foul play is suspected and there is no concern for public safety.
The person's identity has not yet been released, since family members are still being notified.
