PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- For the past decade, Charlie Pigott has been going all out for Halloween.
This year, he decorated his Brooklyn brownstone stoop with a 1,000-pound pumpkin, and it's a show stopper.
"I've never seen a pumpkin this big before. It definitely makes you stop and look," a neighbor said.
The 1,000-pound Giant Gourd of Park Slope is so large, the owner has to rent a forklift to get it onto his front stoop.
"We got a great pumpkin this year. Very happy with the shape, color, size," Pigott said.
Pigott is a proud fourth-generation Brooklyn native.
Ten years ago, he brought home a 100-pound squash to make his Park Slope neighborhood pop.
The next year, he sized up to 250 pounds.
By year three, he was hauling home a 1,000-pound load, and he'll never go small aga
