Having passed the buck of violence and lawlessness on the day of Tripura bandh on October 23 on party colleague and MLA Ranjit Debbarma, the ‘Tipra Motha’ supremo Pradyot Kishore yesterday met the chief minister Dr Manik Saha in the latter’s official chamber for a long discussion. What transpired in the meeting is still not clear but sources privy to goings-on in the higher political circles said that BJP central leadership had directed Pradyot and the chief minister to sit together and sort out all pending issues.
