Nails spilled all over traffic lanes on the Loop 101 southbound in Glendale when a crash happened during the morning commute on Oct. 28.

The crash occurred in the area of Cardinals Way in Glendale, according to a message posted by the Arizona Department of Transportation on X.com, formerly Twitter. Multiple lanes are blocked.

"There are nails on the roadway. We are working to get it cleaned up," ADOT officials said.

In an update at 6:22 a.m., officials said only the right lane remains open to traffic. The rest are temporarily closed for the cleanup.
