They may be too tiny to trick-or-treat but that won't stop the NICU babies at Cleveland Clinic Children's from dressing up.
From ladybugs and soccer players to penguins and footballs, these patients are winning costume contests in their festive outfits. A pair of twins even dressed as Mike Wazowski from "Monsters Inc." to celebrate the spooky season.
Some of the miniature costumes are donated, others are brought in by parents, and some are hand-crocheted by NICU caregivers themselves.
The tradition of dressing up NICU babies for Halloween dates back several years at Cleveland Clinic Children's and is cherished by families and staff alike.
