Former Coventry City CEO Dave Boddy is back in football, taking up the same position at non-league Solihull Moors.

The National League side have today announced the appointment of Boddy who was instrumental along with former manager Mark Robins in guiding the Sky Blues up from the depths of League Two in the face of adversity, including a groundshare at Birmingham, to a promotion chasing Championship side.

A statement announcing the news read: “Dave has a wealth of experience across the football world and is both well respected and well liked.

“His most notable role was as CEO of Coventry City from 2017 - 2024 overseeing a rise from League Two to the Championship and being a penalty kick away from the Premier League . He was also previously Chair of Worcester City, CEO of Newport
