A Coventry family whose home was destroyed in a major firework blaze say they have 'lost everything.' Businessman Mohsen Mahmoudi and his family returned to their home one evening to find it completely gutted.

Friend Monica Chumber said the family of four was out when the blaze engulfed their property in Foleshill . It was believed to have been sparked by a firework that had landed in their garden on the weekend of Diwali.

Firefighters were called, but the blaze had already engulfed the three-bed property on Horndean Close. Monica said everything the family had was destroyed, leaving them 'devastated.'
