A teenage boy sustained injuries in a hit-and-run in Warwick . It happened yesterday afternoon (October 27).

Police were called to the A4189 Hampton Road/Henley Road. It is believed a Honda Jazz struck a cyclist between 4.10pm and 4.30pm.

Medics were dispatched and found that a 17-year-old boy had sustained minor injuries. Officers investigating the crash said the Honda driver fled, and enquiries to find the individual are ongoing.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a non-stop collision on the outskirts of Warwick . It happened between 4.10pm and 4.30pm on Monday on the A4189 Hampton Road/Henley Road and involved a cyclist and a silver car, possibly a Honda Jazz.
