The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect has been arrested who was planning attacks on synagogues in Alabama and other states.

The sheriff’s office says last night, the FBI, the district attorney and the 1st Judicial Circuit Special Response Team were told of the threats against several synagogues.

The sheriff’s office says a suspect who lives in the Choctaw County town of Needham was identified and a search warrant was conducted at the person’s home.
