SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (KTIV) - A Northwest Iowa preschool employee has been accused of injuring a child and has been charged.
Kathryn Elizabeth Pine of Hull, Iowa, was taken into custody after an alleged incident with a student and is being charged with child endangerment - bodily injury.
According to court documents, the 27-year-old Pine was an employee in charge of students at the Apple Tree Early Child Center in Sioux Center, Iowa.
On Wednesday, Oct. 15, another teacher at the preschool reportedly returned to the classroom and saw Pine had a student in what she described as a headlock.
After seeing the other teacher, Pine allegedly released the victim and left the room. Court documents state the teacher who observed the encounter spoke with the student, and the student admitted to bein
