TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Junior Achievement of the Wabash Valley held its third annual Halloween-themed Bowl-A-Thon at the Terre Haute Bowling Center.
The fundraiser brought together local businesses and community members for bowling, costumes, and fun while raising money for student programs. Teams competed in games and a costume contest.
Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship education to students in the local community.
"So, this is just a fun event that people get to come out and support local students while also bowling and getting to dress up. Completely different than anything else offered in the Wabash Valley, so we're excited to keep it coming back," District Manager Madeline Plant
