TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Early voting is underway across Idaho and in the Magic Valley, with Twin Falls County West serving a dual purpose this week as both a voting location and training ground for poll workers before Election Day.
For Political Science Professor Perri Gardener from the College of Southern Idaho and her students who are volunteering at the polls, the experience extends beyond just an election.
“So when I started teaching at CSI I thought it would be a great opportunity for students, and given the ongoing conversation about safety, security, and legitimacy about elections, I think it’s even more important to get young people, students involved to see how the process actually works,” Gardener said.
