PIEDMONT, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Etowah County Animal Shelter is asking for donations to help ensure safe, comfortable walks, and playtime, for the dogs in their care.
The animal shelter shared on Facebook Tuesday, Oct. 28 that they’re in “desperate need” of leashes for their dogs. The news comes after they reached full capacity earlier in October .
While 16 animals found new homes at their weekend adoption event on Saturday, Oct. 25, they are still working to care for a large number of animals.
If you are able or would like to donate, you can drop off leashes at the shelter which is located 12071 U.S. Highway 278 East in Piedmont. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
