Rain did not stop the hundreds of students from filling University of Missouri's Carnahan Quad to celebrate the annual Trick-or-Treat with the Greeks event.

Sororities and fraternities set up tents and tables and spent the evening handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.

Children came to enjoy Halloween festivities such as games and candy.

"I think this is just a very awesome way for the kids to experience Greek life in the Columbia community," said Diamond Francois, a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. "Obviously, a lot of these kids will be going to the zoo probably in the future so it's a good way for them to get exposed to the type of orgs that are on campus."

The annual event invites members of the Columbia community to campus to get to know student organizations.
