Most of the weather this week remains quite cool, but things look to change next week

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Sunshine returns to most of the area with the only clouds left, lingering over far Eastern Nebraska this morning. Even those clouds will clear out, giving way to more sunshine as the day goes on. There will be a little bit of increasing clouds over Western Nebraska. Those are areas starting off quite cold this morning, thanks to clear skies and lighter winds. As you go to the east from there, winds get increasingly stronger out of the north northwest. Winds of 15 to 25+ mph will be pretty common today over Eastern Nebraska. Some gusts this morning may approach 40 mph. These areas are starting off milder, but won’t see a bit rise in temperatures.
