HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Much of the area is starting off the day mostly clear and cold. This morning has pretty much ended the growing season across the area. Far Eastern Nebraska has some dense fog, but most other locations are fine. There are some passing clouds. There’s even a little bit of light snow in North Central and Northeast Nebraska. The clouds and minimal precipitation will clear out fairly quickly this morning, making way for plenty of sunshine. A cold front will push east through the area. Despite the cold front, the breezy northwest winds will help mix some warmer air to the surface, bringing temperatures up a bit today. By this afternoon, high temperatures will get up into the upper 50s and lower 60s. But those winds will be fairly breezy out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mp
Today will be one of the warmest days we see this week, but this may be a bit more common soon
