The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a new warning as new figures reported a rise in cases of a disease that can "take hold in a matter of hours". Children and young adults, particularly university students, remain at risk from meningococcal meningitis and septicaemia, which, while rare, can be devastating, life-changing and sometimes deadly, the UKHSA said.
