LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Braden Frager scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting to help Nebraska shake off a slow start in its 86-53 win over West Georgia. Frager’s performance was highlighted by a pair of second-half dunks, including a left-handed alley-oop slam from Jamarques Lawrence. Frager, a Lincoln native, said he enjoyed being on the court after redshirtting last season. Frager’s 22 points are the third-most by a Husker freshman in his college basketball debut.

Lawrence added 18 points for Nebraska, who led the Wolves by just five points at halftime. The Huskers spent most of the first half trailing West Georgia due to cold shooting and poor rebounding. However, Nebraska settled in and finished 10-of-32 from beyond the 3-point line.
