DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — This week, the Heart of Jasper is shining a light on the heroes in our community with 'Operation Green Light for Veterans.'
From now through Veterans Day, November 11th, residents and businesses are invited to replace one of their lights with a green bulb.
The hope is to show support and gratitude for the brave men and women who have served our nation.
According to their social media post, organizers say this is a simple, visible way to let veterans know they are seen, appreciated, and supported.
Community members are encouraged to share photos of their green lights on social media using #OperationGreenLight and tagging Heart of Jasper to help spread the message of thanks.
