SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) — While the wind does calm down this evening across Central New York, this break is only temporary. Check out the latest details below...
Seasonably cool for the overnight
High pressure is briefly in control of our weather tonight so skies remain clear to partly cloudy. That will allow temperatures to drop into the low 30s which is seasonably cool for this time of year.
Outside a brief flare up of lake effect rain showers north of Syracuse, Thursday is a dry night.
Wind is back on Friday
While the threat of damaging winds has come to an end, it is still going to be a rather breezy end of the week. High pressure is moving off the East Coast by Friday morning and the next area of low pressure gets set to pass to our north.
Counter-clockwise winds around low press
