NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A felon was shot and injured by a security guard in the second of two armed robberies the suspect is accused of committing overnight on Halloween in Nashville, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
MNPD reports that 27-year-old Jermaine Southern is accused of entering the Citgo gas station on Brick Church Pike on Halloween night, armed with a shotgun that he pointed at employees before taking cash from the register.
Southern then fled in a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, where his girlfriend, 27-year-old Jasmine McKissack, was waiting. Police said surveillance video shows McKissack in the vehicle while Southern put on a mask before entering the gas station.
