NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) -- Connect Transit has released a new map and schedule to help connect its riders to the food resources they need.

The Food Pantry Service Schedule and Bus Route Map highlights nine local food pantries in Bloomington-Normal that are accessible through the agency's bus services, said Connect Transit spokesman Mark Huffman.

The map includes pantry locations, hours of operation and the nearest bus stop.

“Our goal is to make sure no one goes without access to food this holiday season,” said David Braun, Managing Director of Connect Transit. “By aligning our bus routes with community food resources, we’re helping remove transportation barriers for those who need support most.”
