KENTWOOD, Mich — Unofficial results from Kent County show Incumbent Kentwood City Mayor Stephen Kepley winning his re-election bid in Tuesday's election.
Mayor Kepley defeated challenger Monica Sparks by nearly seven points, earning a fourth term in the office.
Prior to Kepley serving as mayor, he served as Kentwood City Director of Engineering and Inspections/City Engineer for 11 years.
The role as mayor in the city also includes being the city's head administrator, overseeing much of the city's day-to-day operations.
He will serve his four year term beginning in 2026 and lasting through the end of 2029.
