KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Voters overwhelmingly approved the Kent Intermediate School District Regional Enhancement millage proposal Tuesday.
Kent County voters approved the millage renewal, and increase, by a margin of 27 points.
The enhancement millage will provide funds to be used by all local public schools in the Kent ISD (listed below) for "school investments determined by the local school leaders."
The millage be levied for 10 years from 2027 to 2036 at 0.90 mill.
Kent ISD partners with schools and communities in the county to help local school districts save money and provide enhanced programs and services.
The funds will be disbursed as required by statute to the following constituent districts:
Byron Center Public Schools
Caledonia Community Schools
Cedar Springs Public School
