Olympic gold medalist Dame Denise Lewis has split for her husband music mogul Steve Finan O'Connor, after 17 years of marriage. The former BBC athletics pundit and Steve quietly separated two years ago but only announced they parted ways, on Tuesday (November 4) in a bombshell social media post. ‌

Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Denis wrote in a statement: "After much thought and consideration, Steve and I decided to separate two years ago as a couple. This decision was made with mutual respect and care for one another after many meaningful years together. ‌

"We remain grateful for the time we shared and the wonderful children created," she penned. ‌
