WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) - The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Jefferson and Lewis counties.
The advisory will go into effect starting at 1 p.m. and will run through 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The forecast calls for west winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour, with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
These gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result.
The NWS said to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. They also ask that people try to secure outdoor objects.
