The police found a body in the search for a missing Cambridgeshire postman on Wednesday (November 5). Darren Willis, 53, was reported missing from his home in Duck Lane, St Neots, on June 9.
The police carried out extensive searches in the weeks and months after he was reported missing. The police revisited Eynesbury to continue searching for him after the change of seasons and change in the landscape of the area.
Formal identification has yet to take place but Mr Willis' family have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and will be passed to the coroner.
The police would like to thank members of the public for their support and assistance during the search.
