Cambridge has been named as one of the best cities in the UK in the Condé Nast Traveller Reader's Choice Awards . Every year, readers of Condé Nast Traveller are asked where their favourite places to visit in the UK are and the city of Cambridge has managed to break into the top 10.

Placing higher than Aberdeen, Belfast, Brighton, and Liverpool, Cambridge was named as the sixth best city in the UK. The city earnt a score of 91.11 percent, which represents the overall average levels of satisfaction.

Cambridge missed out on a place on the list last year but has pulled it back for 2025 thanks to its many popular attractions. Condé Nast says the city is best known for "its world-class university, alumni of which include Sir Isaac Newton, Alan Turing, Stephen Hawking and Sylvia Plath".
