The Callaway County Sheriff's Office is conducting a search near Fulton and is asking people in the area of County Road 204 and Birch Cove Drive to lock their vehicles, secure valuables and report suspicious activity.

The Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook around noon Wednesday, saying it is looking for a male suspect who allegedly fled on foot after stealing items in the area of Tower Road.

Deputies are using K9 units and a drone for the search, according to the Facebook post.

The Sheriff's Office said the suspect was wearing camouflage clothing with an image of a dragon on the front. The Sheriff's Office said the suspect is believed to be under the heavy influence of methamphetamine.
