HILLSBORO, Ore. — Two men were found dead in a home in Hillsboro Wednesday morning after police responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon. On Thursday, Hillsboro police identified them as 28-year-old Jefferson Brown and 29-year-old Braeden Leachman.

A large police presence could be seen near the intersection of Northeast Sunrise Lane and Northeast 17th Avenue late Wednesday morning, a few blocks west of the Hillsboro Airport. Part of the road was closed off with police tape.

Hillsboro police got the call just before 10 a.m., according to public information officer Sgt. Aaron McCarver. The officers who arrived at the scene found two men deceased, with Brown located in the backyard and Leachman inside the home.
