LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Department of Social Services has confirmed Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients have received a portion of their benefits.
According to a Nov. 5 release, about $29 million in SNAP benefits were sent to eligible customers.
Officials report more than 196,000 eligible households will receive between none and 50% of their benefit amount, which was issued following new guidance from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
