CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. —
A dispute between two employees and a vendor at a business in North Carolina took a violent turn, according to deputies.
On Oct. 29, deputies with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway Tire in Sherrills Ford regarding a report of a disturbance involving multiple individuals, with one reportedly armed.
Deputies determined that an alleged dispute occurred at the business between employees and a vendor.
During that incident, two employees allegedly assaulted the vendor and shot into the delivery vehicle. The employees also allegedly took property belonging to the vendor and prevented him from leaving.
The two employees were identified as 26-year-old Eric Taylor Anderson of Sherrills Ford and 57-year-old Scott Eric Anderson of Mooresville.
