GREER, S.C. —
Travelers at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport are experiencing flight cancellations and delays as the Federal Aviation Administration implements flight reductions across the U.S.
FlightAware has reported multiple cancellations and more than 10 delays at GSP on Friday. Airport officials said the cancellations are related to the FAA's latest order to reduce air traffic by up to 10% at 40 major airports.
"There's definitely a lot of concern," traveler Kyle Steele said. "We have a lot of our team traveling right now, and some of the ones that are looking to get back home are concerned they're not going to be getting home. Maybe you need a drive back from Texas, so hopefully, that's not the case."
